Welcome to Bright Futures Nursery School

Bright Futures nursery school is an outstanding, Ofsted registered setting, with charitable status. As a social enterprise we ensure all profits are reinvested in your child’s future.

It is a purpose built, spacious and well equipped private day nursery. It offers 59 places and is registered for children from birth to 5 years. Our aim is to ensure that we meet the needs and nurture the development of each individual child in our care, whilst play and learning should always be fun.

Learning through play is recognised as being an excellent way of meeting the needs of individual children as they develop.

We are situated in a popular residential area within Rawtenstall, which provides excellent opportunities for your child to explore and engage with the local community.

We have a highly qualified team of practitioners, who have a superb knowledge and understanding of the seven areas of learning and how children learn and develop.

*Update on wider opening*

The Director of Public Health has revised the guidance in settings reopening to more children and has now encouraged them to do so from Monday 22nd June.

This decision has been made due to a reduction in the rate of confirmed coronavirus infections, combined with the readiness to support the local implementation of the national NHS Test and Trace programme.

This means enough progress has now been made to revise the previous advice

Thank you.

Important Notice

Please be aware that Bright Futures Nursery School has no connection OR affiliation with Bright Futures Day Nursery in Crawshawbooth or other locations!

Nursery

The nursery is laid out over three, age appropriate rooms, babies, toddlers and pre-school. Throughout the nursery we follow a key worker system. Each child will have their own key person, who is responsible for their own individual child development file.

This file will have all observations that are taken of your child and also any photographs and art work created by your child.

Forest School

Forest school is coordinated by a qualified level 3 forest school practitioner, with a relevant outdoor first aid certificate. A forest school is a unique educational experience and process that offers children the opportunity to succeed and develop confidence and self-esteem through hands-on learning experiences in a woodland environment.
